How it works

• Bowbay is an online dealer auction where you, the registered user, bids on various items Bow Cycle selects and posts up for auction.
• Items will be selected on a weekly basis and posted up for bid about once a week. Each auction may last about 1 week, although this time may vary. The auction end date is listed for each item
• The auction is open to any person wishing to register and bid on items
• There are reserve and no reserve auctions. Reserve auctions have a minimum price set by Bowbay and this price must be met before an auction is won. For example: if an item has a reserve price set at $35 and several people bid on that item up to a price of $30, then nobody wins that auction. No reserve auctions means the highest bidder wins, whatever the amount!
• If you are the successful high bidder and reserve is met on an item at the end date of an item's auction, you win that item at the last high bid price and you contractually obliged to purchase the item. (see our terms of use for more information)

3 easy steps to using Bowbay

1. Register as a user - click here or visit the registration page. It is simple and quick and we only require the following:
          - Name
          - Bidder ID/User Name
          - Password
          - Address
          - Preferred Phone Number
          - E-mail
2. Once registered you are able to start bidding on any items up for auction. Simple browse the items on the item list page and click on a thumbnail picture to see more details. To place a bid, click the BID NOW button. If you are not logged in, you will be requested to enter your username and password. Enter the amount you wish to bid. Make sure it is more than the current bid price (displayed below each item). If you are the high bidder, a message, "Thank you! You are current high bidder - You will be notified by e-mail if you are outbid". will appear. Repeat this process for as many items as you wish...
3. If some places a higher bid than you before the end of the auction, you will be notified by email that you have been outbid. You may then return to Bowbay and bid more on that item should you choose to do so. At the end time of the auction, (displayed for each item), the person with the highest bid that also meet the reserve price if there is one, wins and has therefore purchased that item for the winning bid price. Item can be picked up and paid for at the store.
